My Husband need to take some classes for his work in Dallas last week so we put together a little vacation for me and the kids, The last time I took time off of my shop was when I had my baby girl 16 months ago. LOL. And I dont really recall the break I had before that.

So while Hubby was in class me and the kids had fun all day long. We did a lot of swimming, went to the zoo and on the way home we went to dinosaur world. When we got home, some distant relatives were visiting so we played a couple more days with them. The kids really had fun with all of their cousins.

Now its Monday, get back to work day and I am finding it a little hard getting back into the groove. The kids too are having a hard time not running out side to play but we will get there eventually.

We did get to have an amazing vacation and with a little one it wasnt too hard on the brain driving there and back with her screaming in the back seat.

Here is a pic of Davin in a Dino Mouth from our trip to Dino world. That was the best part of the trip in my opinion.

I know the year isnt quite over yet, but so far it has been great. I am sure the last 14 days will be just as great as the rest of the year.

With the awesome success that this year has brought I am looking forward to next year and with that I have posted in several places my goals for 2011, so I wont bore you with those but did want to add that I would love to be able to add some personal goals to my list.

I have so far only listed what I want to do with my business for next year. Personally or family wise, I would love to stay on top of homeschooling my 6 year old. This year we have been lax and did it only when we felt like it. So far this week we have done great. Every day we have done at least one lesson. So YAY for us. LOL. I would love to also make a few more items for my kids, and not everyone elses kids. LOL. I love to make items for kids and usually I start with projects for mine but this year I seem to have focused more on the shop than my babies, so I want to do more for just them. And lastly we need to take a family vacation this year. We havent had one since I got preggers in 08 so we are definately due for one. Not sure where we will try to go but we need to go somewhere away from the computers and maybe somewhere without cell reception.

Alright I feel much better about getting some goals down now to get back to playing with the kids before I need to start dinner.

I hope if you have goals for 2011, business wise or personally, you can reach them and maybe even get more out of them than you hoped.

We will be at the Holiday in the park festival in League City Tx. I am hoping for a fun exciting festival, it will be the last one we do for the year. The last one we did in Katy was pretty good but I am hoping for more fun, and the weather looks like it might be perfect for all activities. Weather man says we are looking at Low 70's for the high and low 50's for the lows, so I might not freeze too much. Still trying to finish a few more last minute things tonight, but It should really be tons of fun.

This weekend was great. We had a gift market that we were vendors at, it was pretty good.

Every day we drove an hour to get there, which wasnt too bad. Traffic was not bad either. We met a lot of new people, made friends with some of the other vendors. Friday was a little slow but that was sort of expected, Saturday was our best day and Sunday was slower than friday, but all in all I think it was great. Got some feedback from customers that I would have never met before. And learned a few more things to do to help my booth out.

The kids got to stay with grandma and coming home was amusing. Both kids would drop what they were doing to run to me and get hugs and kisses, made me feel soo loved and special, because when I am home all day with them I dont get soo much loving. LOL

And I now have some inspiration for a couple of new items to add to the shop.
