This weekend was great. We had a gift market that we were vendors at, it was pretty good.

Every day we drove an hour to get there, which wasnt too bad. Traffic was not bad either. We met a lot of new people, made friends with some of the other vendors. Friday was a little slow but that was sort of expected, Saturday was our best day and Sunday was slower than friday, but all in all I think it was great. Got some feedback from customers that I would have never met before. And learned a few more things to do to help my booth out.

The kids got to stay with grandma and coming home was amusing. Both kids would drop what they were doing to run to me and get hugs and kisses, made me feel soo loved and special, because when I am home all day with them I dont get soo much loving. LOL

And I now have some inspiration for a couple of new items to add to the shop.

The last time I posted anything was back in June so that is just crazy.

I did good while the baby was little but now that she is definately mobile it has become much harder.

We did a craft show at the local Funfest in Texas City, it was a total blast. We made several new friends, and learned a few more things we need to improve on. But here are some of the photos from our booth.



We made our own banner, I let the kids help me paint so it was a little sloppy but also gave it the childish look I was going for. LOL.





Our aprons we a pretty good little hit we sold the cupcake apron set and a similar one in a minnie mouse print. Now I need to make more.



Amazingly the crayon rolls we neglected, I think I displayed too many at one time, giving too many choices confused everyone possibly.





As always our crayon aprons were adored and we sold a few, I need to make more though, and a lot of people suggested we make matching totes for the aprons so they can carry their aprons with them before they get to their destination and then pull it out and put it on, I think that was a great idea and need to work on that.





I made several different pillow case dresses mostly some in a fourth of July print, sold some but not very many, need to definately work on getting some more prints together for the next shows.





Lastly I had some super hero capes, just simple cotton ones, I want to get some embroidered ones done here soon. I am sooo excited to make more items and need to take a few days to clean the house up but other than that we had a ton of fun. My husband made some new friends and ran into some old friends, my daughter who went with us the first day actually had fun too, of course she flirted with everyone that came to our booth, LOL. I really look forward to doing another show next year.

Slowly but surely I am adding new items to my store.

I have chef aprons and hats now to add, tooth fairy pillows, super hero capes and few other items. I am taking these with me to a few craft fairs and if they remain afterwards we will be definately adding them to the etsy shop.

It is still under construction so not much going on there. But it is coming along slowly.
Just sooo excited about all that is happening right now I had to share the awesomeness of it all.

my new favoritest dress.

It is made of dupioni silk with an organza overlay, and I am in love. Here are some photos.










I want to make more of these, LOL. I even made the buttons myself to match the dress.

I decided to a craft show last minute here in town. It was a bust but I had fun. We were there from 8-3 and it rained 60% of the time. They are supposed to try to do it again in a few weeks. Learned several things from this though. Since it rained we bought some sides for our pop up canopy, so everything doesnt get wet again. And we learned our tables we dont like. LOL. So now we are going to go get some better folding tables, and hoping to do a few more craft shows here soon, just going to keep learning as we go. Hopefully next time it wont be raining as much and we will have a better experience. We did manage to sell 2 items in the rain. Tons of fun, my 6 month old loved it, my 5 year old not sooo much so we took him over to my moms house.

I am sure everyone is paying for it, physically or mentally. LOL. This allergy season is killing me, and my kids. Me and my son both have asthma and now my 5 month old is being tortured by it all. I have spent the last 3 days watching her cough so hard she is throwing up, was hoping it would go away, lol, tried the humidifier and the cool mist humidifier but neither has helped. All she can do is toss and turn while trying to sleep, and all I can do is sit her and watch her be miserable. Well I broke down today to take her in to the doctor. I also had to get an appointment for my son because he is out of asthma meds and although he went in Feb to see the doctor she wants to see him again to write him a refill, I would be mad but both of them are on medicaid, if I had to pay out of pocket I might try to break someones leg.

Well all of you that are also suffering from allergies, I wish you some relief soon.
