Here is this weeks featured artist and pleas enjoy.
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5763536&order=§ion_id=&page=1
OMG is all I can say when I look at Anita's store. There are sooo many beautiful items, and so many yummy descriptions for each and every item in her store. I dont think I could ever buy from her because I would want to buy everything, I wouldnt know when or where to stop. I would hate to be her neighbors too, I mean imagine waking up early in the morning and smelling cotton candy wafting through the windows and all you can do is sit there salivating because you have no idea as to where that yummy smell is coming from. Again OMG.

Sweet Treats Jelly Bean and Cherry Lemonaide Ice Cream Cone Soap
What do you think of when you read this, I mean come on. I am drooling here at my computer. And it looks so cute and good to eat, good think computers arent in 3-D yet. Other wise my computer would be in trouble.

Goats Milks and Shea Butter Body Cream (Fragrance Free)
I love body cream but I hate the fragrance part, I hate smelling all froo foo, sometimes well ok most of the time I am just simple. So I like to moisten my skin and not smell like I just came through the department stores fragrance ladies, you know the ones that spray you and then ask if you would like to try their product. yikes. Any ways love this one because of that.
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=16184331
Sweet Treat Chamomile and Lavender Bath Bomb
And I picked this one because I love chamomile and lavender. So ok I am a little biased din my feature choices but hey it is my blog, so what. Any ways, Anita has some really good and nice items here and I think you all should come check her items out. Dont take my word for it just go look and if you find some you like buy, buy, buy, and buy some more. LOL
And more importantly have fun.

I love this woman. She is super talented and makes some really great items. She belongs to a couple of really awesome groups and is really cool.
She makes a wide range of items
pillow case dresses
eyelash scarves
hats
booties and mittens
blankies and burpies
aprons
M2M dresses and hairbows
table runners and placemats
Here are my favorites from her store

These dresses are so coool and cute, each one made out of an awesome fabric with satin ribbon for the shoulder straps.

Such an awesome fabric print. Each blanket so clearly made with tons of love for the child or baby it will go to.
And these aprons are totally cute. Even for the boys they are cute.
I know this one seems to be a little short and to the point, I didnt get a chance to do my interview, Hurricane Ike has made my doing my thing a little distracting but a little difficult also. Alright Hope you all enjoy and all those that are also affected I hope you are all doing well, I know home are destroyed and lives are distracted but I hope you are well as far health goes. All my best wishes go out to you all.

This one is awesome, she is willing to make it in your choice of colors, and to fit your little princess fairy. And there is a lot of things included in this order for this dress/costume,

How about a funky stuffed owl, he is too cute to not want to take him home.

I will save her second shop for tomorrow, have fun with this one, take your time find something you like and buy, buy, buy.

This weeks artist is a friend, well I consider her a friend, we participate in a few groups together online. Her work is very cute.
Petal Heads. is for ages newborn to about age 7. They make headbands and infant hats adorned with flowers, buttons and "bling". The headbands actually fit newborns to adults and the knot hats are for 0-18 months. The top knot is adjustable. They are a unique gift and such a fun accessory!

This is a 1.5" brown crochet headband topped with an approx. 3" pink flower. The center of the flower is a brown button. The flower and the button have been securely hand sewn to the headband.

This is a fun little 1/4" green plastic headband topped with an approximate 3" white flower. The center of the flower is a black button. The headband has small round holes to about ear level.

This is an adorable white 100% cotton newborn welcome home hat that she can wear for many months. The knot is adjustable so the hats fit 0-18 months. This Petal Head hat has an attached dark pink flower with "blingy" petal tips. The center of the flower is a white swirly button. The flower and the button have been securely hand sewn to the hat and the bling was put on with a very strong holding glue.

Alright ladies as promised here is the new artist of the week, I love her items, all of them. Great works of art.

Sheaclay's shop features "fine art for your table" - beautiful and practical functional pottery. SheaClay's best sellers are mugs with nature themed "clay applique" images, or twistmugs with earthy, neutral glazes, perfect for your favorite brew. she also sells alot of bowls, mainly large serving sizes, and place settings. She is more than happy to do wedding registries. She is currently working on a line of "spoiled rotten" pet dishes, treat jars, and personalized urns. All of her pottery can be used in the dishwasher, microwave and oven.

SheaClay has been making pottery on the wheel for 20 years, and selling full time since 2004. She also teaches classes privately, or does pottery parties, and teaches at a local art center.

SheaClay's Bio
I have been making pottery since 1982. I fell in love with clay immediately and at a young age, and this memory is part of what motivates my love of teaching children about such a "magic" medium. I have had a few years of ceramics education at area community colleges and Akron University, but most of my education has been through studio work, making pottery at Hale Farm and Village, contact with other working artists, and through motherhood and family life. I also have a background in textile silk screening and mail order catalog production.
My life is all about my family, and making and selling tableware has enabled me to stay home and raise my kids. It is such a privilege to be invited to serve at so many tables- I appreciate the opportunity to make beautiful things which make a great family meal- or a simple cup a joe- even better.
My Favorites from SheaClay
Sol Swirl Mixing Bowl

This bowl measures 4"h x 12 1/2" w and holds 10 cups.It weighs only 3 1/2 lbs. It is glazed on the bottom w/ a raised foot
SheaClay Pottery is an awesome artist and I hope you all enjoy her work. Thank You SheaClay.

Cafemom etsy moms, is the best group ever, I love all of the ladies on there, they are all supportive of eachother, encouraging and informative. I met Dawnberries through a store we are selling some of our items through in North Carolina. She has some really awesome items in her etsy.
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5859621
I really love the door hanger she has in her store.
This wooden door hanger measures 3" wide and 9.5" tall. It has been engraved (burned) with a nap alert message on one side. It will be personalized with your child's name on the other side. If you want different pictures, this can be done too! Let everyone know when your child is sleeping and shouldn't be disturbed. And when he/she isn't napping, proudly display their name and favorite things.
Baby tooth box

This little wooden box has been engraved (burned) with a happy little tooth design. It's the perfect size for storing baby teeth! The box measures approximately 1.5" in diameter and 1" tall. The wood is natural and uncoated.
Personalized napkin holders - set of 4

Here is a little info on Dawn herself:
I was born and raised in southern California but went to college in Chico (northern California) and graduate school in San Francisco and Nashville, TN. I have B.A. in French and Psychology and a M.S. in Research Psychology. After graduate school, I lived in Edinburgh, Scotland and Cambridge, England for a few years before returning to southern California. Now I am a mostly stay-at-home mom to a nearly 2 year old boy. I do the bookkeeping for the family machine shop and sometimes borrow the laser machine to engrave designs on wood and other items. I also sew cloth diapers, covers, and children's clothing.

Have you got the Etsy Blues? Lots of stock , but no sales?Top Ten List for Beating the Etsy Blues!!(Written by http://www.allieb.etsy.com/ )
10. Hold an empty brown paper bag over your mouth, bend your head back and yell into it as loud as you can. Now twist it fast to catch all your 'hot air' and BOOM...pop it with your fist! Now don't you feel better?
9. Force your family to collect all the tiny bits of lint off their clothes and from the dryer. Make a gigantic lint pumpkin and spray paint it bright orange. Now list it on Etsy. SOMEONE will buy it!
8. Take a walk around your block BACKWARDS while repeating the Etsy Creed, 'Your Place to Buy and Sell All Things Handmade' over and over and over again at the top f your voice. Sure you MIGHT get hauled off to the loony bin but maybe, just maybe, you will get a new customer for your shop!
7. Go to your Etsy shop at least once a day and visit the people who have 'hearted' you in their shops. Once their banner comes up repeat this phrase thrice...."Thank you for loving me and for not putting a value on our Etsy love by …NOT BUYING ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!"
6. Just for fun post a picture of yourself as a new item in your shop! Sell yourself off for a few dollars and see who buys you! And if no one does, than you’ve now got an EXCELLENT excuse to stay depressed!!
5. Hide under the covers with all your craft supplies and ponder on the meaning of life and most importantly on the meaning of.... marketing techniques to drive sales with search engine optimized wording!
4. While someone you love is sleeping, glue sparkles and sequins on their foreheads and dangle a few beads from their toes...when they wake up shout, "Yay, you TOTALLY look like an Etsy project!!!!!!!"
3. Find a new hobby in addition to Etsy...perhaps sword-fighting or wrangling alligators. What a better way to vent out zero sales instead of just sitting at your computer crying about it!
2. Send a note to “Admin’ at least once a week and ask them WHY OH WHY they never feature your shop on the front page but rather focus on mundane and boring seller items like hand-carved wood art or hand-crafted pottery. I mean, REALLY glittery jellybean pants are super HOT items these days!!!!!!!!!And the number one way to beat off the Etsy Blues is...drum roll please...tata...tata...tata....
1. When you wake up each morning, take a long hard look at yourself in the mirror and affirm this aloud to yourself, "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and dog-gone it...someone will BUY something from me today!
